I’m Sarah.

After graduating college, I worked as a TV news reporter at an NBC affiliate outside of Chicago. I then retired from that life to be a stay at home mom to my three little ones. While at home I was able to rekindle my love for decorating and crafts. A blog seemed like the perfect place to share those ideas. There is inspiration everywhere, I hope you find some here.

My sister-in-law is very crafty and has a vinyl business called uVinyl. She also has an idea blog with a lot of inexpensive crafty ideas. On that blog she is giving away a free vinyl decal! So check it out!  Because I am family, I have been lucky enough to benefit by having a lot of cool vinyl decals made. I like it because I usually have ideas and specific things that I want, so I just send her an email about what I want and she can make basically anything. Here are some pictures of some of the vinyl work she has done for my house.
(my forever family vinyl decal that I put on the outside of a glass picture frame. I put fabric on the inside)
("to do list" cork board with vinyl lettering around the outside, my sister-in-law actually gave this to me as a Christmas present)
(vinyl birds in my bathroom)
(nativity scene on a tile block, I used this to decorate the nativity event and my house during Christmas)
(the abc's on the wall in Jax and Park's room)
