I’m Sarah.

After graduating college, I worked as a TV news reporter at an NBC affiliate outside of Chicago. I then retired from that life to be a stay at home mom to my three little ones. While at home I was able to rekindle my love for decorating and crafts. A blog seemed like the perfect place to share those ideas. There is inspiration everywhere, I hope you find some here.

Being grateful for things is something I try to do all year round, but this time of year definitely helps remind me to continue being grateful. For family night, we talked about the importance of being thankful for things. It was cute hearing the boys say what they were thankful for. Earlier in the day I made this wall hanging as a place to put our gratitude lists, so that we can always be reminded of them.
Here are the supplies:

1. I took the glass and everything out of the picture frame.
2. I hot glued the wire to the back of the frame.

3. I then hung our lists that were written on some textured scrap book paper and hung some dried leaves and berries leftover from my other projects.
{notice Jackson said he is grateful for his warm house, family and friends}

4. I accidentally bought these push pin magnets, thinking they were actually push pins... but because it's a magnent, I just set it on the nail to cover up the nail head.

We are looking forward to spending some time with family the next few days. Mostly, Danny and I are excited that we bought two portable dvd players for our car so that the boys have something to do while we are driving.
