I’m Sarah.

After graduating college, I worked as a TV news reporter at an NBC affiliate outside of Chicago. I then retired from that life to be a stay at home mom to my three little ones. While at home I was able to rekindle my love for decorating and crafts. A blog seemed like the perfect place to share those ideas. There is inspiration everywhere, I hope you find some here.

For her wedding, my sister made some cute little bobby pins to hold her hair back. I decided that I should make some too. Here are some of them.
{do you notice that I made these with the zig zag side down... I learned that is the correct way to use a bobby pin by reading this blog post}
To make the white one, I just cut some different shapes out of fabric scraps and glued it all together and glued some tiny pearls on.
To make the orange flower refer to this post and just make the flower really small.
