I’m Sarah.

After graduating college, I worked as a TV news reporter at an NBC affiliate outside of Chicago. I then retired from that life to be a stay at home mom to my three little ones. While at home I was able to rekindle my love for decorating and crafts. A blog seemed like the perfect place to share those ideas. There is inspiration everywhere, I hope you find some here.

The second leg of our holiday travels: my sister's wedding in Chicago. Here are some of her wedding pictures that I took. And by the way it was freezing!

the bride and groom
{I took some of these pictures at the LDS Temple, where they were married and then the other pictures were taken at a forest preserve just 5 minutes away. It was exactly what they wanted for the background of their pictures and everything worked out perfectly}
the reception

the family
{To the left of the bride and groom are Brad's family who flew in from Nevada and to the right of the bride and groom is my entire family. It was nice to have a little family reunion}
the hams
{Jackson and Parker kept us all pretty entertained during the reception, their cousins Kylie and Kara helped too}
 {Jackson's reaction to his food: a huge plate of mac and cheese}

Our time with my family in Chicago was a lot of fun but very brief. Immediately after the reception, we headed to the airport and were off to Texas for Danny's brother's wedding.
