I’m Sarah.

After graduating college, I worked as a TV news reporter at an NBC affiliate outside of Chicago. I then retired from that life to be a stay at home mom to my three little ones. While at home I was able to rekindle my love for decorating and crafts. A blog seemed like the perfect place to share those ideas. There is inspiration everywhere, I hope you find some here.

I have seen so many of these cute pom poms on pinterest and thought they would be the perfect addition to Elly's room makeover.
They are really easy to make, just time consuming. I made these while watching several episodes of Storm Chasers on Netflix. {I think if I didn't go in to being a tv news reporter, I would have gone in to meteorology. I just love it and Danny makes fun of me all the time for it}
first. Cut a million felt circles.... well it seemed like a million. It took about 9, 9 x 12 felt pieces. I used a styrofoam ball for the form. You can buy those at a craft store for about $4. They were about 5 inches big.
second. Make all of the little flowers. Use some hot glue and follow the steps below.

 third. Hot glue the flowers on to the styrofoam ball.

 fourth. Hot glue some ribbon on to the balls and then hang them from the ceiling.
