I’m Sarah.

After graduating college, I worked as a TV news reporter at an NBC affiliate outside of Chicago. I then retired from that life to be a stay at home mom to my three little ones. While at home I was able to rekindle my love for decorating and crafts. A blog seemed like the perfect place to share those ideas. There is inspiration everywhere, I hope you find some here.

I wanted to put some of my easter treats in mason jars because I have so many of them just sitting in my food storage closet and I think they are so cute. Right before I put the candy in the jars I saw this blog post and was like, genius! Adding the pin cushion on top makes it look even better than just the normal metal top. So I followed her instructions and just stuffed some cotton on top of the lid and hot glued the fabric to the normal metal top. And that's it, you have a cute little candy jar.
