I’m Sarah.

After graduating college, I worked as a TV news reporter at an NBC affiliate outside of Chicago. I then retired from that life to be a stay at home mom to my three little ones. While at home I was able to rekindle my love for decorating and crafts. A blog seemed like the perfect place to share those ideas. There is inspiration everywhere, I hope you find some here.

Here is a super easy project I did to add to Elly's art wall in her room. It is using basically the same method I used for this wall art and this decor.

to make:
first. Find a picture frame (I painted this one black and then sanded it down a little), a letter, and some sort of fabric.
second. Follow the directions for the second step on this tutorial.
third. I decorated my letter, you can do it with material, scrap book paper, buttons, glitter, seriously the options are endless! I found some confetti flowers in the bridal section at Hobby Lobby and they were on clearance so I thought they would work perfectly, and they did. I liked how they gave it more of a 3-D look. I used mod podge and the hot glue gun to attach the flowers.

fourth. Hot glue your letter on the burlap and you're done!
