I’m Sarah.

After graduating college, I worked as a TV news reporter at an NBC affiliate outside of Chicago. I then retired from that life to be a stay at home mom to my three little ones. While at home I was able to rekindle my love for decorating and crafts. A blog seemed like the perfect place to share those ideas. There is inspiration everywhere, I hope you find some here.

I have always loved making personalized cards. Last week while at Michael's I loaded up with some card making supplies. The supplies included: alphabet stamps, birdcage stamp, red ink, black ink, some washi tape, bakers twine, scrap book paper, blue note cards and envelopes, paper clips and circle cutouts.

I also made some paper and fabric brads with my i-top.

Then I just sat down and got to work. It was a lot of fun thinking of different designs for the cards. And before I knew it I had 12 cards done! It went really quick because all my supplies were right there and I kept my cards pretty simple. Now I don't have any excuses to not send out a card on someone's birthday!
