I’m Sarah.

After graduating college, I worked as a TV news reporter at an NBC affiliate outside of Chicago. I then retired from that life to be a stay at home mom to my three little ones. While at home I was able to rekindle my love for decorating and crafts. A blog seemed like the perfect place to share those ideas. There is inspiration everywhere, I hope you find some here.

Now, you know I am always trying to perfect my pizza making skills. I posted about how I found the best pizza making class online that is free go here to see that. Or go here to see my post about it. Recently, I made a pulled pork hawaiian pizza. I love pineapple on my pizza but don't like the traditional cooked ham on it. We had left over bbq pulled pork from sandwiches earlier in the week and we always add grilled pineapple and banana peppers to our pulled pork sandwiches so I thought to just transition that on to a pizza crust.

Pulled Pork Hawaiian Pizza
One pizza dough using the "American-Style Neapolitan" recipe and tutorial from Craftsy
BBQ sauce
Harvarti cheese shredded
Mozzarella cheese shredded
Pulled pork pre-cooked and shredded
Pineapple small slices
Banana peppers sliced

Make your dough as directed. Preheat your oven to 550 degrees with pizza stone inside. Top pizza with bbq sauce, cheese blend, pulled pork, pineapple and banana peppers. Top with extra cheese if you would like. Cook on pizza stone for about 10-15 minutes or until the crust is golden brown.
