I’m Sarah.

After graduating college, I worked as a TV news reporter at an NBC affiliate outside of Chicago. I then retired from that life to be a stay at home mom to my three little ones. While at home I was able to rekindle my love for decorating and crafts. A blog seemed like the perfect place to share those ideas. There is inspiration everywhere, I hope you find some here.

Chocolate Mousse Filled Cups

Chocolate Mousse Filled Cups

Ever since we went to Belgium, anytime I'm at the store and see something that is Belgium chocolate, I just have to buy it! I recently came across these little Belgium dark chocolate dessert cups. There is a number of things that you could put in them, but I wanted to make some chocolate mousse-because it's one of my favorite things.

However, I wanted to find a mousse recipe without eggs so I used this recipe. Then after the mousse set in the refrigerator for a few hours, I used a piping bag to put it in the little cups. I topped them with crushed peppermint. I think they make the perfect dessert for a holiday gathering or dinner party and they look so fancy even though they only take about a half hour to make and assemble.
