I’m Sarah.

After graduating college, I worked as a TV news reporter at an NBC affiliate outside of Chicago. I then retired from that life to be a stay at home mom to my three little ones. While at home I was able to rekindle my love for decorating and crafts. A blog seemed like the perfect place to share those ideas. There is inspiration everywhere, I hope you find some here.

OMBRE DYED EASTER EGGS

OMBRE DYED EASTER EGGS

IMG_29611 So, my kids love decorating easter eggs-and they love to eat hardboiled eggs so it's a win win. I decorated some eggs the other day with a marbled effect here. I love using neon food coloring when decorating eggs and did it a few years ago with these eggs. This year I wanted to try the ombre effect which was so easy. You just set up your little bowls of vinegar and food coloring and dip the hardboiled eggs in each color. The longer you leave it in the bowl, the darker the color. So easy! Here are some of my other favorite ombre dyed easter egg ideas from the web.
