I’m Sarah.

After graduating college, I worked as a TV news reporter at an NBC affiliate outside of Chicago. I then retired from that life to be a stay at home mom to my three little ones. While at home I was able to rekindle my love for decorating and crafts. A blog seemed like the perfect place to share those ideas. There is inspiration everywhere, I hope you find some here.

In a previous post I listed some tips on how to "spring-ify" your home. I am normally not a fan of fake greenery and fake flowers... but let's be honest they are so much easier because they never die! So until I can use actual flowers and greenery from my yard, I have filled my home with artificial ones. It makes such a difference having a bit of spring in each room. I love being reminded of spring as I walk around my house!
